The process of giving and receiving feedback is central to what makes any working relationship productive and useful—or disastrous. Feedback conversations can be particularly hard in the social sector, where people tend to be especially emotionally invested in the impact of their work. What would it look like to give and receive the pieces of feedback most necessary for growth, exactly when we need to hear them?
In this course, Kim Scott—author of Radical Candor: Be a Kickass Boss without Losing your Humanity, CEO coach, and former Operations Lead at Google—will share her personal experiences receiving and giving feedback in high-level management positions, and the framework that she has developed for giving and receiving the most appropriate and effective feedback.
Kim will present her “radical candor” framework to help you foster great working relationships and drive organizational change. This course is ideal for anyone who wants to expand their ability to provide the most constructive, candid feedback and establish effective, collaborative working relationships.
